This image is from a “what if?” moment when l looked at a Cyanotype of abstract liquid shapes on paper and saw a map. I took a graphite pencil and began drawing paths, roads, cul-de-sacs, giving my imagination freedom to connect lines, blue shapes and spatter marks. Again, this was reworking of a static image to convey implied motion.
